How we helped:
When St. Oscar Romero Catholic School in West Sussex prepared to welcome its first-ever intake of sixth form students, they needed a purpose-built block to support this milestone expansion. The new facilitiy needed to inspire independence, offering a distinct and dedicated space for sixth formers while complementing the rest of the school. With tight timelines and the need to avoid disrupting ongoing school activities, the school approached Portakabin for a high-quality, modular solution tailored to their needs.
Portakabin worked closely with the Headteacher and Chair of Governors to design and deliver a bespoke sixth form block that aligned with the school's vision. The new building includes well-equipped classrooms, a science lab, a flexible lecture space, and a tranquil wellbeing garden to foster a positive learning environment. Designed to inspire and meet the practical requirements of sixth form education, the facility was completed on time for the September 2024 intake.
By leveraging our modular expertise, we were able to deliver the project on schedule and to a high standard, with minimal disruption to the school's daily operations. This project reflects our unique ability to provide innovative, tailored solutions that support educational growth and adapt to the evolving needs of schools and their communities.
