Requirement
After steady growth in their business, an Irish pharmaceutical company recognised an urgent need for additional space but didn’t want its staff to be inconvenienced while a new permanent fcility is being built, or by having staff commute from another rented office location.
The client contacted Portakabin to provide the much-needed additional office space as soon as possible for over 50 staff members. The space needed to provide valuable meeting rooms and increased canteen and kitchen facilities. They also required the new building to be located directly on their site to allow for better communication, collaboration and convenience.

Solution
After preparatory groundworks, the modules were delivered and installed, which included five separate workspaces and two meeting rooms, all linked to a kitchenette. As the canteen is not only used by the office staff, but also by the operations staff, in a second phase two additional units were added and seamlessly linked to provide complete welfare facilities.
Due to the flexible nature of a modular design and the additional amenities Portakabin can supply, the pharmaceutical company were able to source each of their requirements through Portakabin.
The team at Portakabin team came to site, listened to our requirements, and made some valuable suggestions as regards to location and orientation. They then proceeded in what was a very short timeframe to design and build the new facility including all groundworks a complete turnkey facility to suit our needs. We only had to supply power and water connections, and we were literally ready to move in. Our staff were pleasantly surprised with the high level of finishes and the overall comfort of their new environment.
